Cleaning and Prevention

It is a cooperative effort when it comes to preventing dental cavities. The patient, dentist, and dental staff at each visit will observe the natural dentition and supporting structures of your mouth to prevent the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases.

Good oral hygiene starts at home. Patients are instructed to brush and floss at lease twice a day or after every meal if possible. It is also recommended that the patient see a dentist every 6 months to get a professional cleaning and take care of any dental work needed. We also recommend getting sealants and fluoride treatment which helps protect the teeth from future decay. At your first visit you can expect a dental exam, cleaning, and x-ray.

We are serious about maintaining healthy oral hygiene. Our helpful staff will educate you on ways you can avoid serious and costly dental problems.

Prevention helps and is the key to having a healthy smile.
